What is the CareerForce Chat?
The CareerForce Chat is a chatbot assistant. A chatbot is a computer program that simulates human conversion. It is not an actual person, but a system that is designed to help Career Seekers and Employers find information and get help from CareerForce and our Partners. The chatbot currently does not allow for you to type, but uses buttons to provide you options to guide you through a conversation. Generally the chatbot will provide you with some information and give you links to find more information on CareerForceMN.com, or a partner's website. You can always return to the chatbot even if you minimize the screen to continue your conversation.
Who can use the CareerForce Chat?
Anyone who uses CareerForceMN.com can use the chatbot.
- If you are logged in with your CareerForceMN.com account, the assistant will recognize if you are a Career Seeker or Employer and guide you to specific resources.
- If you do not have an account, or are not logged in, you can still use the chatbot. You will be asked to identify if you are a Career Seeker or Employer to get you to the correct resources.
- If you are one of our Staff or Partners, you will be asked if you are a Career Seeker or Employer. This allows you access to both Career Seeker Tools and Employer Resources.
What tools are available for Career Seekers?
Career Seeker Tools focus on helping you find information and services to Start, Change, or Advance your career. The chatbot will first ask you if you qualify for services if you lost a job, were laid off, or had your hours or income reduced through no fault of your own. You can answer the questions anyway you like. After these questions, all Career Seekers can use the Career Tools to get help with:

- Finding Events & Appointments
- Finding Training Programs (Coming Soon!)
- Finding Services
- Browse Prioritized Industries
- Finding our CareerForce Locations.
What resources are available for Employers?
Employer Resources focus on helping you find information and help to Attract, Develop, and Retain your talent. The chatbot can help you find information and expert help with:
