How to Participate

To participate, you must have a social security card and government-issued identification. 

To learn more, visit our website: www.takoda.org. You also can call (612) 341-3358, ext. 119, for more information. Once you complete an interest form (online or by phone), you will be invited to an enrollment session.

When you successfully complete the class, you will have credentials to operate all the machinery, as well as certification from Takoda Institute.

Program Costs

Program Costs

There is no financial cost for individuals eligible for our various grant programs. These eligibility factors include: military service, race, gender, disabilities, long-term unemployment, recent incarceration, public assistance, age of 55 or older and income below 200% of Federal Poverty Guideline. 

Our Takoda Institute team members will work with participants to determine eligibility.
