Prime’s 20-week immersive experience prepares students to join the industry as entry-level software engineers. Using modern technologies like HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, jQuery, React and Node.js to provide foundational concepts, techniques and design patterns essential in all coding environments. Beyond theory, Prime is engineered to quickly build real-world skills through hands-on experiential learning and a focus on toolsets, authentic workplace context and behavioral skills. Prime's admission process starts with an online application. You'll answer short essay questions, logic puzzles and you'll be presented with a challenge where you'll show you're comfortable picking up technical skills. The process is designed to be fun–there's no timer and you can complete your application over as many sessions as you'd like. Once submitted, if your application looks good, you'll be contacted by Prime to schedule an interview where you'll have the chance to sit down with someone from our admissions team to confirm that the program feels like a mutual fit. All of Prime's graduates receive a certificate of completion. We are proud to say that the average Full Stack graduate makes 67% more in their first job after the program than they were before their studies with us. Our course completion rate averages 87% and 83% of graduates seeking new jobs get training-related employment within 6 months at an average salary of $64,440. At Prime, grants and scholarships are available to cover 100% of tuition for eligible students. These funds target individuals underrepresented in the tech industry, including low-income, unemployed or underemployed Minnesota residents; BIPOC Minnesota residents; women/non-binary and veterans. In addition to those eligible for 100% free tuition, Prime students may be eligible for a variety of loans, income share agreements and partial grants. We have a history of being a good return on investment. Full tuition is $18,000 and the average student paying out of pocket can pay back the cost of their education in their first 8 months at their new post-graduation job.
