May 17 Military Appreciation Job and Resource Fair in St. Paul

The governor has proclaimed May as Hire a Veteran Month in Minnesota. Throughout the month of May, Leading CareerForce partner DEED and other state and local organizations, including Leading CareerForce partner Ramsey County, will draw attention to the great value veterans bring to Minnesota employers.

One of those events is the Military Appreciation Job and Resource Fair taking place on Wednesday, May 17. That event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CareerForce Location in Saint Paul at 540 Fairview Avenue North. All current and former members of the U.S. military and their families are invited.

Participants will be able to speak with employer representatives, training providers and service organizations about employment, training and other opportunities. There will also be computers available for employment applications and other job search related use on site.
