Greater Bemidji

Greater Bemidji, Inc. is a non-profit, charitable organization serving the greater Bemidji region of north-central Minnesota. Its mission is simple: drive development and promote prosperity in the region.

Greater Bemidji is governed by a 26-member, all-volunteer board of directors made up of key private sector and public leaders in the region. The board provides a nice cross-section of the region, allowing all voices to be heard and supported.

Funding for Greater Bemidji is primarily from private-sector investments in the region. Roughly two-thirds of Greater Bemidji’s annual budget is from the private sector. In addition, the City of Bemidji and Beltrami County both serve as critical partners and key funding sources for Greater Bemidji.

Greater Bemidji has two staff (Executive Director and Office Manager). In addition, it has two contracted parties to lead the Minnesota Innovation Institute and LaunchPad initiatives.

Greater Bemidji relies on deep partnerships with local and regional organizations. To our partners, investors and community leaders, we extend a sincere THANK YOU!
