Minnesota Tech for Success

Mission

Minnesota Tech for Success creates digital equity for students by partnering with schools and educational organizations to provide technology access, engaging STEM programming, and IT workforce development in underserved communities.

Minnesota Tech for Success Learn (MTFS Learn): Assist job seekers of all ages, skills, and income levels in achieving economic self-sufficiency through training, certifications, and career pathways.

Education Programs

We work with schools and nonprofits to teach students of all ages computer literacy to help improve academic achievement and economic stability. We provide computers, software, technology skills training, and employment readiness education.

A combination of public and private grants allows the majority of MTFS Learn students to enroll in training at no cost.

For students currently enrolled in MN Benefits, Minnesota Tech for Success is WIOA approved and can be found on the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL.) Speak with your employment counselor about co-enrolling to support this MTFS training.

MTFS Learn 

Curriculum for adults to build the foundational IT knowledge and skills for professional readiness.

MTFS Youth Learn

Curriculum to ignite student interest in the possibilities of technology and the IT field.

MTFS Work

Paid internships put MTFS graduates’ new knowledge and skills to use with real-world technology experience.

• WIOA Certified, Eligible Training Provider with Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).

• We are listed on the Minnesota Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) as “Minnesota Tech for Success,” formerly known as “Minnesota Computer for Schools.”

• Minnesota Tech for Success (MTFS) is not accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting body.

• MTFS is licensed as a private career school with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, sections §136A.821 to §136A.832. Licensure is not an endorsement of the institution. Credits earned at the institution may not transfer to other institutions
