Minnesota company's apprenticeship program helps meet skilled staffing needs

Leading CareerForce partner Ramsey County Workforce Solutions shared this great story about a Twin Cities area employer with a successful apprenticeship program. Innovize is a specialized medical device manufacturer in Vadnais Heights that focuses on medical device contract manufacturing for the largest medical device companies in the world. As Innovize grew, it struggled to find people with the training and experience necessary to meet business needs. Back in 2018, the company reached out to the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry for guidance - and their apprenticeship program quickly got off the ground.
