This is a FREE 5-week in-person summer training program for someone who is motivated to start not just a job, but a career in construction trades. Previous participants have gone on to construction careers in roofing, flooring, and painting. In partnerships with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) we are lending a special lens to highway heavy careers this summer where participants will be visiting a highway heavy site and connecting with highway heavy employers.
Participants will be able to gain hands on training with power tools, learning trades math, and receive an introduction to OSHA.
