Armory Arts and Music Center

Description

The Armory Arts and Music Center (AAMC) is a nonprofit organization that was formed on 2002 to bring the historic Duluth Armory back to life. The AAMC is currently partnered with developer George Sherman and Sherman Associates to move the project forward. Construction is due to begin in June of 2023 with a completion date at the end of 2024. The AAMC currently provides affordable studio space to artists, and operates an afterschool music program for teenagers called the Music Resource Center.

The mission of the Armory Arts and Music center is to preserve the Duluth Armory and its historic value to American culture and the arts, while encouraging its reuse, placing emphasis on the arts and education.
