Anoka County Job Training Center

The Anoka County Job Training Center administers programs to meet the needs of youth, laid off workers, seniors, and unemployed and underemployed adults in our community. We are one of several partner agencies who provide comprehensive services to job seekers and employers in the community.

Our Dislocated Worker Program services are designed to help workers who have been laid off get back to work as quickly as possible. If you're a worker who has been laid off (or notified that a layoff is coming) through no fault of your own, we offer services at no cost that focus on preparing you to find a suitable new job.  You do not have to be an Anoka County resident to participate in the Anoka County Dislocated Worker Program. Apply for the Dislocated Worker Program by completing and submitting this short online form.

Our Empowers Young Adult Employment & Training Program provides services for youth and young adults, ages 14-24. Individualized services to explore careers, support training, and gain work experience through paid internships. Apply for the Empowers Program by completing and submitting this short online form.

Our Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) provides services for low-income Anoka County residents 55 years or older looking for part-time employment opportunities.  Apply for the SCSEP by completing and submitting this short online form.
